On March 26, 1979, the Michigan State Spartans and Indiana State Sycamores played a national championship game that would shape basketball for decades. Beyond MSU's 75-64 victory (the team's first national title), the game sparked the rivalry between the Spartans' Magic Johnson and ISU's Larry Bird, which would last through their Hall of Fame NBA careers. To commemorate the earth-shattering battle of basketball giants, we recreated the Spartans' 1979 shooting shirts. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.
