The Bulldogs went on a 14-game winning streak early in the season and would eventually earn a spot in the College World Series for the second time in four years. Pitcher Mike Rebhan was named Most Outstanding Player in the CWS after beating the Stanford Cardinal and future Hall of Famer Mike Mussina twice to get to the championship game, where UGA would beat Oklahoma State 2-1 for their first and only title.

Greatest UGA Sweatshirt Ever

First, how soft is it? It's amazingly soft which takes the comfort to the next level. I'm having a hard time taking it off. Next, the dark gray is perfect, but the lettering which harkens back to our 1990 baseball jerseys "Red Sox" style font gets compliments all over campus. It's classic and just different enough to garner a question from friends. I'm glad I finally picked it up through the pop-up at G-Day.

The Best Sweatshirt I Have Ever Worn

I wanted a new, classic UGA sweatshirt that wouldn’t literally cause me to sweat on a Fall/Winter Saturday in Georgia, and this thing delivered. So comfortable and soft with the vintage lettering. Wore it for the second Natty and feel like at least one of those touchdowns was partially due to this sweatshirt. I’m normally on the upper end of Large, so I got the XL, which I do not regret.
