“Pitt Is It” 1976 National Champs Vintage Tee
- Free exchanges
Led by Heisman winner Tony Dorsett — a star so big that the team retired his number while he was still playing — the Panthers ran through the 1976 regular season undefeated. An independent at that time, Pitt accepted an invitation to the Sugar Bowl to play Georgia in New Orleans. They won 27-3 to claim their ninth national championship in program history. This design features the famous panther head created by artist Bill Winstein of the Pittsburgh Press, a well-known component of an old wall mural that overlooked Pitt Stadium in the 1970's. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.
Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
