Indiana State men’s basketball is woven into the fabric of basketball history, including in the first-ever postseason collegiate basketball tournament in 1936. The winner of the tournament would earn the right to send five players to the 1936 Olympic Games. Unfortunately, Indiana State lost the championship game, but their 29-28 loss against DePaul is still a pivotal moment in American sports history.
