This bison photo that we've recreated for this IU design is from the 1967 season. Famously known as the "Rags to Roses" season, this bison mascot was along for the ride as the Hoosiers fought for their invitation to the 1968 Rose Bowl. Indiana football would not repeat such a feat until 2025, when they received their invitation to the 2026 Rose Bowl via the College Football Playoff.
