At the end of their first year, Naval Academy students must climb the 21 foot Herndon monument (which is often covered in vegetable shortening) to place an upperclassman’s hat on the top to be recognized as fourth class midshipmen.

This tee commemorates the USN students from 1972 who hold the record for fastest climb, reaching the top in only 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!

If you know, you know: you need this t-shirt! My husband LOVES his. The shirt is high quality and the softest knit I’ve seen in decades.
