The original banner was painted in 1988 by Todd Gilmore and Michael Gentemann on nine dorm shower curtains. While the original has since been replaced with a replica (the original hangs in the Hall of Athletics) the message remains the same. “Pay Heed All Who Enter: Beware of the Phog!”
