The Houston Mavericks were one of the charter ABA teams. Though they soon moved to North Carolina after an ownership change, and moved again toward the end of the ABA's existence, the team existed in some form through the entire lifespan of the league. We love this original Mavericks design, featuring a steer drawn in a classic, midcentury cartoon style.
