In the 1970s, South Carolina announced itself on the college baseball scene, starting with its first NCAA tournament appearance in 1974. From 1974 to 1985, the team made 10 tournament appearances, won their regional five times, and were College World Series runners up twice. This pullover jersey is modeled after the Gamecocks' 1975 College World Series uniforms.
