The Kentucky Colonels were a foundational piece of the ABA through its short, but bright, decade of existence. Nicknamed for the Kentucky Colonel honor, the Colonels enlisted many in the “Colonels Army,” delighting fans across the country, especially when playing their rivals, the Indiana Pacers.
