Herb Brooks, former University of Minnesota and USA Olympic hockey star, came back home to Minneapolis to coach the Gophers in 1972. By the time he left to coach the 1980 Olympic “Miracle on Ice” team, he had led U of M to three national championships, mostly with Minnesota kids. In his final season, every single player on the team hailed from the state of Minnesota as they beat North Dakota for the 1979 National Championship. Eight of those players joined him on the Olympic team that brought home the gold medal in one of the most legendary games of all-time. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.

Fits Well and Color Does Not Fade

The shirt fits well. I am 5'7" and did end up ordering a Large and doesn't feel overly baggy or tight in any areas. I would suggest that on t-shirts you may want to consider sizing up from your normal ordering size. I often wear Mediums from most places. I've owned the shirt now for a while and even after many washing cycles the color hasn't faded.

Comfy Shirt with Neat Graphic

This shirt (like all Homefield products) is super comfy! I also love the gopher mascot on this shirt! It sends out good vibes when I put it on. I just love this shirt and this brand.

My Favorite Shirt

Absolutely my favorite Homefield shirt, bar none. I’ve been a BNS member for two years and have bought a lot of other apparel pieces for myself and as gifts, but this one is my favorite. I love the dark maroon color, and it has stayed soft and comfortable and hasn’t faded even after dozens of washes.

Softest Shirt Ever

This shirt is by far the softest EVER! The design is also world class. I mean who doesn’t like a smiling gopher on skates. I am not even a Minnesota fan, and I got this shirt!
