Despite losing QB Peyton Manning to the NFL after an SEC title in 1997, the 1998 Tennessee team was still oozing with talent. Tee Martin stepped into the QB position and led a Vols squad that eventually had 26 players drafted by the NFL to an undefeated season and a national championship. UT would defeat eight bowl teams, including six January bowl teams, four top ten teams, and three BCS bowl-bound teams on their way to becoming one of the best college football teams of all-time.
