This classic design featuring an old-school bulldog is how we envision the first-ever mascot of Fresno State. While most schools in the 1900s had naming contests to find their mascots, Fresno State happened upon theirs. In 1921, he student body president brought his bulldog to campus, who often tried to sneak snacks from students.
