The Swamp Retro Florida Gators Tee
- Free exchanges
The “Swamp” is the nickname given by Steve Spurrier in 1992 to the Florida football stadium. Spurrier, two years in as head coach, said "The 'Swamp' is a place where only Gators get out alive," in an interview with The Sun. It then kicked off a streak of 31 consecutive home game wins on the way to claiming four straight SEC titles and the 1996 National Championship. The retro gator on this shirt was once painted inside the stadium near Gate 1, and was also featured on old stadium cups.
Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
