Both this classic Joe Bruin illustration and the world-famous script "UCLA," found here on our vintage-inspired bomber jacket, debuted in 1964. While both Joe and the script received some upgrades through time, they've always been set on UCLA's signature gold and blue. The blue, which has ranged in tone from deeper royal to powder/sky, represents the ocean and wildflowers native to the area; gold represents California (the Golden State), California poppies, and stunning Pacific Coast sunsets.

Got the jacket for my grandson who is a senior at Ucla. Pleased with the workmanship and logos. It is lightweight but perfect to wear to basketball games at Pauley. Like the interior pocket.
