Led by coach Tom Crean, junior guard Dwyane Wade, senior big man Robert Jackson, and sophomore guard Travis Diener, the Marquette Golden Eagles won the Conference USA title and rolled into the NCAA tourney as a 3-seed. Perhaps the biggest game of the entire tournament was Marquette’s Elite Eight win over No. 1 Kentucky, in which Wade put together a dominant triple-double performance to lead them to the Final Four in New Orleans.
