This throwback BU Terriers logo is an amazing, vintage nod to Boston U’s history and proud legacy in Beantown. Originally chartered in 1869, Boston University’s main campus along the Charles River brought together the geographically disparate campus into a more cohesive unit. Their Boston terrier mascot saw them through most of this rapid growth, after the student body elected the unique pup as their mascot in 1922.
