For one season, and one season only, the Indiana Football Hoosiers wore an italicized, "Flying IU" logo on their football helmets. Though this unique take on the trident was retired just a year after its debut in 1983, it's a Homefield favorite. In partnership with the logo's original designer, alum Mark Bannerman, we're bringing illustrations designed for the 1983 season back to life, alongside the high-flying logo.
