For 75 years, the Little 500 has been a Hoosier staple. Modeled after the Indianapolis 500, riders compete in teams of four in a relay-style race around a quarter-mile track. The race is a demanding physical challenge for every rider, while also doing good for the IU Student Foundation. The race, and the fanfare around it, have given the Little Five the moniker of "The World's Greatest College Weekend."
