The Ramblin' Wrecks of Georgia Tech have a helluva football team. They've been wearing gold helmets since the 1940s, often incorporating gold accents into any of their other, non-gold helmets. This specific helmet is best known for its appearance during Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate in 2024, in which Tech took its arch rival, Georgia, to eight overtimes.
