This design tells a specific story about Purdue's legendary Mackey Arena--one of childhood memories and an experience to last a lifetime. Purdue's youth basketball camp began in 1974, bringing campers together to play and learn in the best setting a kid could ask for. Keith Butz, the illustrator of dribbling Purdue Pete, designed and illustrated many of the elements we incorporated into this basketball camp design.
