The inspiration for this incredible, '70s-era bubble script "Purdue" didn't actually come from Purdue memorabilia at all. In 1978 and 1979, Iowa football used this reimagined Purdue wordmark on their game programs. It's certainly a Purdue football deep cut, but we're all about deep cuts here.
