The Charlotte 49ers made their first-ever appearance in the NCAA tournament a good one, as the team made its way to the 1977 Final Four. Charlotte battled tough, with huge wins against Central Michigan, Syracuse, and Michigan. The Niners' incredible season remains their most successful men's basketball season to date (but we're certain more is on the way).
