Wisconsin-Milwaukee became the Panthers in 1965 after a student referendum. During the 1972-73 season, UWM introduced both live and costumed panther mascots to solidify the nickname. They chose a golden panther cub named Trouble to serve as their live animal mascot, and debuted Victor E. Panther as his costumed representative. The vintage panther featured in this design also dates back to the early 1970s, though we’re not sure if he’s supposed to be Trouble or Victor.
Our unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
