In 1965, UWM graduate student Jim Cheski entered the contest to design the school’s new mascot, which the student body voted to change to the Panthers. He designed both the panther head featured on this retro-inspired hoodie and a leaping panther logo for the school. Aside from the distinction of bringing Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s mascot to life, he also won $100. Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
