Legendary Hall of Fame basketball player and coach Dawn Staley was hired as the South Carolina women’s basketball coach in 2008 and quickly led the Gamecocks to consistent success on the court. After multiple Sweet Sixteen runs and a trip to the Final Four in 2015, the 2017 squad led by A'ja Wilson broke through with a win over SEC rival Mississippi State in the championship to bring the program’s first national title back to Columbia.

Softest Shirt Ever
