Four years after Maryland brought home its first national championship in basketball, the women’s basketball team brought home the school’s second. Their tournament run had its share of nail-biting moments, including playing their fifth overtime of the season to beat Utah. They weren’t done with overtime; the Terps forced overtime after a 13-point halftime deficit and defeated Duke to win the title.
