Apparel Graphic Designer: Retail Apply Now
As an Apparel Graphic Designer at Homefield, you will work closely with the Director of Apparel Design and fellow designers to develop college apparel collections, as well as the Vice Presidents of Sales and Retail to design product specifically for Homefield owned stores and retail partners. You will research a school’s history and traditions, consult school-provided art sheets, and work directly with school licensing departments to get artwork approved. In plain words: you’ll design thoughtful college apparel for Homefield's owned stores and retail partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design unique and thoughtful graphics for t-shirts, sweatshirts, headwear and outerwear
- Engage in extensive research on school history/traditions
- Vectorize vintage logos/mascots/wordmarks
- Work with schools to ensure artwork approval
- Take in-bound requests from retail partners for hot market, as well as Homefield's owned stores
- Ensure that designs are within the boundaries set by licensing agreements
- Communicate directly with Licensing Directors when necessary
- Submit artwork through online licensing portals
- Maintain organized digital filing systems
- Follow systems for file prep and storage
- Maintain naming conventions

- A knowledge of the college sports landscape, and excitement to create apparel that meets the big moments.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in related field
- Strong proficiency of Adobe's Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Illustration skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- A compelling portfolio
- Preferably reside in Indianapolis, though we will consider remote roles for the right candidate
