Though the 59th running of the Indianapolis 500 ended 26 laps early due to rainy weather, the race itself still offered its share of excitement. Though Wally Dallenbach led the most laps of the race, Bobby Unser won the race, with 500 legends Johnny Rutherford and A.J. Foyt rounding out the podium.
