Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona is often referred to as the “House of Heat” due to rising temperatures that can soar well over 100 degrees at field level. Opened in 1958, the playing surface is named after former ASU head coach Frank Kush, who compiled 176 victories at the helm of the program, including two undefeated seasons and six bowl wins.
