A dual-sport athlete through his collegiate and professional career, Jackson played for both Auburn baseball and football from 1982 to 1985. In 1985, he won the Heisman Trophy, before being drafted first overall in the 1986 NFL draft. Jackson finished his pro career in the MLB, eventually earning a spot in the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame.
