Inspired by Auburn’s famous cry and live mascot, we whipped up this vintage-inspired “War Eagle” design. Calling themselves “the Tigers that say ‘War Eagle,’” Auburn fans take great pride in the stunning, live eagle that goes to Jordan-Hare Stadium on game days. As the legend goes, a Civil War veteran brought his battlefield companion (an eagle known now as War Eagle I) to an Auburn game in 1892. The eagle flew around the field as the Tigers made a game-winning drive, inspiring fans to shout, “War Eagle!” in celebration of their good luck charm.
