We found this cardinal illustration on a vintage Ball State pennant, and recreated it for this design. Ball State chose its nickname, the Cardinals, in 1927, after deciding to abandon their earlier nickname, the "Hoosieroons." Not only is the cardinal the state bird of Indiana, but it also got the attention of school nickname committee members, one of whom was a St. Louis Cardinals fan who found the bird striking on their uniforms.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
BAL-T-012-SOur unisex tees run true to size. If you're looking for a roomier fit, we suggest sizing up!
