Perfect for your next trip to Allen Fieldhouse, we recreated this classic Kansas basketball script. To be fair, everything about Kansas basketball is classic – after all, the Jayhawks are synonymous with basketball. Among their legendary coaches are both the “Father of Basketball Coaching,” Phog Allen, and the father of basketball itself, James Naismith (who was their first coach in 1898).

Item not as pictured

The item sent to me was not as pictured on the website unfortunately. The screenprint "Jayhawks" was only 1 inch from the neckline so it did not go across the chest as is pictured on the website and as one would expect. It was printed above the chest and looked very odd when I tried it on, although I noticed right away how high it was on the item. I contacted customer service to inquire whether the item I received was just printed incorrectly as I was most interested in receiving the item as pictured on the website. Customer service said it was standard for them to print that high -- specifically 1 inch below the neckline. I suggested they change the picture on the website to reflect that. I think it is odd that the picture on the website is exactly how someone would want the item to look -- but the item when printed is not! I am in the process of returning the item. The other thing I noticed is that the string in the hoodie was beige/off white and on the website it appears to be the same color as the screenprint - white - but it is not. The hoodie was very soft and I feel it was true to size.
