Named for the rooster in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, the Chanticleer is a proud, no-nonsense rooster known for its striking looks and confident caw. When Coastal Carolina was trying to find a new mascot that would relate them to their then-sister school, USC, the Chanticleer became a clear favorite. This logo, used from 1995 to 2002, originated after Coastal became an independent university; the triumphant Chanticleer made clear that Coastal was a force of its own.
Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
