My son wore his new Colorado shirt and the Buffs started…winning?

I bought my son his first Homefield shirt, and knew it had to be a Buffs one. One of my best friends is a Colorado alumnus, and loves his Buffs. My son has accompanied me to the local brewpub where my friend Dave and I watch the occasional Colorado football game, and it turns out the Buffs never lost a game that we watched with my son. So, we joke that he’s kind of a good luck charm for Colorado. Anyway, the shirt came in, and I asked my son if he wanted to put it on. He did, and the joy on his face was not only adorable, but also heartbreaking because he’s still too innocent to understand how the Buffs will inevitably break his heart. But, the strangest thing happened since he wore the shirt: good things happened for Colorado teams! First, the MBB team made a halftime lead hold up in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament, and beat Washington! Then the Buffs took UCLA to the wire in the quarterfinals! And the WBB team made the NCAA Tournament, and got a favorable matchup with Middle Tennessee! Then, the Ski team finishes second at NCAA Championships! And, as of this writing, the Colorado men lead Seton Hall, 33-27, at halftime of their NIT First Round game. Everything’s been coming up Black & Gold since my son wore his magical shirt.

“It’s So Soft!”

Ordered these for my 6 and 4 year old kids. They arrived today and I showed them and the four year old demanded to put it on. At that point she immediately looked at me and in all sincerity - something I didn’t know she could ever have - she said “it’s so soft!” and demanded to keep it on. I believe the children are our future…
