The DePauw Tigers are one half of the Monon Bell Classic, one of the most storied rivalry games in all of Indiana. The winner of the rivalry football game, held between DePauw and Wabash College, wins The Monon Bell, a locomotive bell from the Monon Railroad. The rivalry game even inspired a song, “The Ballad of the Monon Bell,” which was dreamt up by several DePauw alumni that debuted in 1985.
