This Duke wordmark featured on this vintage-inspired bomber jacket launched in 1992, and we incorporated the devil’s signature pitchfork with it. The Blue Devils’ name isn’t actually demonic, like their mascot suggests – they’re named for a French WWI military unit called the Chasseurs Alpins, more famously known as les diables bleus (“the blue devils”). Though some were hesitant to adopt “Blue Devils” at first, the nickname gained steam around 1922. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.

Best purchase yet

I mean, come on, need I say more about this? It's the best item I've gotten from Homefield yet — and I have a lot. I'm typically an XL for shirts and sweatshirts but I went up to an XXL so I could wear jackets underneath and that was absolutely the right call.
