For this design, we brought back Pepper the Parrot, the former ETSU mascot with big basketball dreams. First introduced in 1980, Pepper has extensive lore; he flew through a hurricane to find a basketball team and fans to support, and landed at ETSU's Memorial Center. Though Pepper retired in the 1990s, his love for Bucs basketball is still felt to this day.
