Georgia Southern football was a force to be reckoned with in the late ‘80s, winning all six of their national titles between 1985 and 2000. Our favorite of those titles came in 1989, when the Eagles went an astonishing 15-0, a feat few teams in all of college football have accomplished. The high-scoring Georgia Southern offense rolled through opponents, all the way through their championship thriller against Stephen F. Austin, where they mounted a fourth-quarter comeback.
