From 1982-1984, the Houston Cougars men’s basketball team was known across the land as “Phi Slama Jama.” Texas’ Tallest Fraternity earned its nickname from sportswriter Thomas Bonk, and embraced the name so strongly, the team put the nickname on its warmups. Staying true to the team’s bold style, we recreated Phi Slama Jama’s look with this 1980s-vintage shooting shirt. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault.
