Indiana State men’s basketball is the oldest in the NCAA, first starting a team in 1896 alongside four other colleges. Some of basketball’s most game-defining names have coached in Terre Haute, including Glenn M. Curtis, Dave Schellhasse and the legendary John Wooden. Famous players have also repped the Sycamores, including Duane Klueh and (of course) Larry Bird.
