Though IU notched a perfect 32-0 season, becoming the 1976 National Champions wasn’t a cakewalk. The Hoosiers drew Marquette in their region, and played UCLA in the Final Four. At the end of the gauntlet stood conference foe Michigan, but the Hoosiers earned their third championship title.
