Nicknamed the “Octagon of Doom” by K-State students in the late 2000s, Fred Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas has been a difficult place to play for opponents since it opened in 1988. The nickname originated on online forums circa 2007, but gained traction and popularity during the 2009-10 season. Bring on the Cats!
