The Miami Redhawks men’s hockey team has accomplished quite a bit in their relatively short history. They’re best known for success throughout the 2000s, starting with Enrico Blasi and the Brotherhood era, who went on an eight-year streak of NCAA tournament appearances. Miami also made consecutive Frozen Four appearances in 2009 and 2010, the latter of which was a testament to the Redhawks’ fortitude after the tragic loss of their teammate Brendan Burke during the season.
