One season after Michigan State baseball made the NCAA tournament in 1979, the Spartans started off a new season (and new decade) in the uniforms that inspired our retro pullover. This look debuted four years after dual-sport athlete and legendary Spartan Robin Roberts was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
