Sparty made his first appearance as a live mascot in 1955, when three Theta Xi fraternity brothers created his papier-mâché head. He was given a slight refresh when the mask was recreated in fiberglass in 1956 before being fully revamped into the cartoonishly ripped Sparty costume we know and love today. Brought to you in partnership with College Vault. Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
