We’re guessing the nickname “StarkVegas” came about right around the same time as this retro football design we found in a 1981 yearbook. First used to poke fun at Starkville and MSU, since Starkville is just a bit different than Las Vegas, Bulldog faithful reclaimed StarkVegas as a nickname for their beloved team.
