After an injury to Dereck Whittenburg knocked the Wolfpack down in the regular season standings, NC State ended up winning the ACC tourney to secure their spot in the 1983 NCAA tournament. Their close games earned them the nickname “The Cardiac Pack,” even before the championship game against Houston. Lorenzo Charles caught and dunked a last-second air ball from Whittenburg, giving NC State a miraculous 54-52 win over Phi Slama Jama.

So Many Compliments!

Bought this shirt earlier this month and the first time I wore it, I was immediately complimented! The conversation turned to the history of NCSU basketball and I was able to connect with another fan in a cool way.

Inconsistent Colors

Like the one review mentioned, the color CAN be closer to pink. My first order, the red was great and the lettering had a more creamy (but nice) color. The newer one is a red closer to pink but with white letters. Neither have been washed or worn, just intended to put one away because I really love the graphic.
