For this vintage Nevada football helmet design, we nodded to their original nickname, the Sagebrushers. Nevada adopted the nickname when the football program began in 1896, after the state flower, and used the name until 1922. That year, a local writer described the team as a “pack of wolves,” and the team soon became known as the Desert Wolves. Now, of course, Nevada athletics teams are known as the Wolf Pack. Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
